CHARLES STUART UNIVERSITY

NURSING SIMULATION LABORATORY FIT OUT

JXB Projects was engaged to redevelop the Simulation Laboratory in Building 1292 at Charles Sturt University, Bathurst—transforming an outdated science lab into a state-of-the-art training facility.

The scope included demolition, followed by construction of two fully equipped, simulation treatment rooms, a toilet and shower, a training-grade store for medical consumables, and new internal pathways. Glazed partitions, benches,  shelving, and handwash stations are integrated throughout.

The project also delivered upgraded services — resulting in a purpose-built, high-functioning environment that enhances practical learning and simulation training for students.

All works were completed within an active university campus, requiring strict adherence to noise management protocols and minimal disruption to adjacent learning spaces.
