HERITAGE BUILDING PRESERVATION
Working with Sydney Harbour Federation as part of their Priority Works Program, JXB undertook the preservation and remediation of this heritage listed building.
The former army barracks building located at Manly’s iconic North Head sanctuary, had several significant issues including water ingress, concrete spalling and deteriorating hazardous materials.
To preserve the building the JXB team safely removed asbestos and lead paint, repainted, completed facade, roof and gutter repairs, installed new waterproof membrane and structural propping.
